Paddle Boarding!

Who knew standing on a surf board could be so much fun? Ok, so it's not really a surf board, but it's the closest we have here in Minnesota! The month of September is looking to be a bit of a break for me! I'm super excited to take some extra time to enjoy the tail end of summer and re-charge my batteries! I thought I would start the fun a little early today (while on our 'workout around the lake') and my best friend and I decided to rent paddle boards! It was SO. MUCH. FUN! and even though it was a bit challenging with the wind (yes, I fell for the record) we had a blast! And...it is seriously a great workout! I think I am addicted!

Sarah and Donny: Engaged!

Sarah and Donny are a very special couple! Sarah is from London and met Donny when she moved here for work a few years ago! I absolutely love this couple because with the first shot out of the camera, they were totally comfortable with each other, which I think says a lot! Not to mention, they are SUPER cool and hilarious AND Sarah has a rockin accent!






























Sarah and Donny are getting married in just a couple short weeks! Congratulations to the lucky and oh-so-happy couple!

Portraits

A good portrait. It should be strong, intense, and intimate all while combining the subjects personality. This week, I get the EXTREME pleasure of shooting a feature for a magazine and doing portraits of all my subjects! So far, they are looking AMAZING, but I will share more of that once the issue comes out in October. For now, Brandon helped me out today and we messed around with some sweeeeeeeet lighting and the 50mm 1.2......butter! I LOVE IT!

Mr. and Mrs. Jennings!

Cierra and Dillon have an extremely strong relationship! They've been through a roller-coaster of trials during the years they have been together, but their love stayed strong all the way through! This couple had a 'star theme' wedding at the fabulous McNamara Alumni Center!
