Today was SUCH a fabulous day! It is my first day back from my trip to Canada and Minnesota was a winter wonderland! Seriously - I don't think I have ever seen this state look so beautiful at this time of the year! I was lucky enough to get to play outdoors and capture some moments with Amanda and Rick. This couple will be getting married this next September and they are soooo sweet! Congratulations to Amanda and Rick on your engagement!

Canada: Joel and Sheena!
...all of Joel and Sheena's friend's pitched in to make their day a seccess! From plowing, digging and shoveling snow to rolling out the red carpet, it was truly a winter wedding!...
...the groom skied into his wedding!
When I came to Canada a couple weeks ago, I had no idea I would end up shooting a wedding on this trip. However, I am SO happy I was able to capture this couple's day! Joel and Sheena got married on top of Mount Washington on Vancouver Island. It was their dream to have a winter wedding, on a mountain, with tons of snow and that is absolutely what they got! This couple lives in New Zealand and have been planning their destination wedding from a far. Everything seemed to be going well for them when their photographer, hair dresser and makeup artist were unable to make it...and then the power went out the morning of their wedding! Despite all of the mishaps that seemed to be going on, their day turned out to be absolutely fabulous and exactly what they wanted. I was so impressed by their calm nature, great friends and family and genuine thankfulness for all those who helped make their day! Congratulations Joel and Sheena on your wedding! It was truly my pleasure to be able to capture it for you!
