For those of you who know me, you know my fascination with homeless people! I'm not sure why I am so intrigued by them, maybe it's how they survive, their stories, or mass amounts of addiction...either way, these people's faces have so much to say. And even though their stories might be bullshit, they are good stories! I spent an afternoon hanging out with the 'street life' folk on the East Side of Vancouver...
...the woman on the right was heading up a group, along with her sister, to provie coffee, cookies and sandwiches to the homeless around the holidays. They are not part of a foundation or non-profit. They simply take this on themselves every year. This year, Starbucks sponsored their crew...
...this guy likes to 'do his laundry' with Kraft dinners...
...homeless love...
...This alley is called 'blood alley.' A super nice clothing store sits on it's corner, distinguishing the line between the rich and the poor...
...this was the last shot of the day. I thought it ws ironic, seeing a homeless man sleep on the cold, wet ground under an advertisment that promotes a smiley, happy society!...
This entry isn't meant to disturb anyone, but to bring awareness to a community that thrives all throughout the world. I do not support drugs, violence or unsafe sex, but I do love to tell stories about people and this is their Happy Holiday!

p.s...this next image isn't of a homeless person, but a girl, crying to her friend. Kind of a vulnerable moment!
