...Aaron was in his zone...
...i love meeting people who are excited to shoot! Here, Alessandro became my partner in crime...
For those of you who don't know, my hands down, favorite artist in the Twin Cities is Patrick Kemal Pryor! Not only is he a fabulous painter, but he is also one of the most inspiring people I have ever met! This last week, Patrick offered his expertise and studio space to some artists - yes you are all artists! These people came from all different backgrounds, some were familiar with the brush and others who had never painted in their life! This event was to simply allow others to create art. No pressure, no judment, just a blank canvas a paint! I had the pleasure of capturing this event, and it was SO refreshing for me as an artist! Seeing others create some beautiful pieces of work before my eyes was amazing! I also met some fun, FUN, amazing people, who I am happy to call my friends! Thank you Patrick for inspiring others and me, to create!

The Knot!
Look for the newest issue of The Knot! One of my clients, Kelly and Marc Olin, who tied 'the knot' last year, are featured! They had a fabulous wedding and it is always great for me to re-live those moments!

Extreme Home Makeover!
This past week, ABC brought the Extreme Home Makeover crew to Minnesota! They demolished and rebuilt a house for an amazing family in the Minnetonka area in only 96 hours! A HUGE thank you goes out to the crew at TBJ Homes for putting in the effort and donating their time to help this family! Another big thank you goes out to Bob and the staff at Stellas Fish Cafe for throwing a fabulous wrap party for absolutely everyone involved in this project!

Pizza...and Passion??
So this past weekend, I went out and decided to work on a day that I was originally going to take off. The Pizza Luce block party was going on and despite all the laundry and other shit I had to get done from being gone for 2 weeks, the camera called. I went, shot, and tonight as I was beginning to edit, I realized that my dog had eaten my interviews. :0(. I couldn't even piece them together! So, I was a little angry, but started sifting through the pictures anyways, and I started thinking...I am so lucky. I am lucky to have my dream career and have the opportunity and privilage to capture little moments in time. I have always been a nerd for photographs, but there is something amazing about taking a picture of someone in a moment, rocking out to their favorite band, all worries aside. These little moments in life. They kick ass. And I get to capture them. Sweet.
Rock on. e

Viva La Mexico!
For all of you bloggers who have been waiting for some new material...here we go! I have spent the last 2 weeks at the El Dorado Royale resort in the Riviera Maya, Meixco. Let. Me. Tell. You. This place was phenomenal! It is a 5 star resort and has been voted by various magazines as one of the top resorts in Mexico! This is not a place to go if you are single and looking for love, but for all my clients who are soon-to-be honeymooners, seriously consider this location! I also traveled to Chichen Itza, which is one of the new Seven Wonders of the Modern World and Tulum, which are both ancient Mayan cities. It was absolutely beautiful there and they Mayan people were fabulous as well...take a peek...
