FASHION FIGHT NIGHT SLIDESHOW!

Yesterday was Metro Magazine's Fashion Fight Night in which I was one of 6 photographers competing LIVE for the title of Twin Cities Top Fashion Photographer! Guess what....I WON! Well, actually, I tied with Nic Marshall, who is an amazing photographer and I have total respect for... but I WON!!! I had the most amazing experience participating in this event! Not only did I have a BLAST doing what I do, but I had THE most AMAZING team EVER behind me! Not only did these people make me look good out there, but they ROCKED the crowd and we all just had fabulous chemistry in the ring! Thank you, THANK YOU to all of the people who came and CHEERED!!!! It was fabulous!

One little funny tidbit is that I lost one of my contacts within 3 seconds of being up on stage, so I shot the entire competition not really being able to see or tell if anything was in focus or not! It was crazzzzy! Below is a slideshow I put together, becuase I wanted to document the entire journey of the event and take you 'behind the scenes'....enjoy!

I WON!!!

...fyi...I totally ROCKED Fashion Fight Night and tied Nic Marshall for the Championship...it's AWESOME!!!! WHOOO HOOO! So many more pictures and everything to come! Thank you SO much for all of the support in texts, e-mails, and for those of you who came to the show....AND MY AMAZING TEAM!!! WE KILLED IT and had SO MUCH FUN!!!!

PHOTOGEN INC'S NEW WEBSITE!

WOOOO HOOOO! I am very proud to announce the new Wedding Website for Photogen Inc! I decided it was time to separate my commercial/editorial work from my wedding portfolios and also have the opportunity to offer my clients more!

The new site not only has more wedding portfolios on there, but it also has SUPER nice, big images and better online proofing! Now it should be quick and easy to purchase your favorite images!

I would LOVE to hear feedback - seriously, the good, bad and ugly! - because that is the only way i can make it better for YOU!

You can still access the old site, which I will be updating as well in the coming months. That site will be entirely devoted to my commercial, editorial and fashion work!

WOOOOO HOOOOOO! So, Fashion Fight Night is THIS SATURDAY already! I am SO pumped and SO excited...not to mention, the event is COMPLETELY SOLD OUT!!!!!!! Thank you SO much to everyone who is coming to support me...I better hear you CHEEEEEEEEEEER!

This Made My Day...

So, I woke up this morning and got this Oh-SO-Nice e-mail that just made my day, so I thought I would share it! I really appreciate random acts of kindness, I can not thank you enough!

Sanity...

...so I know I haven't updated my blog in a while! I have been SUPER busy creating my FABULOUS new website and getting ready for FASHION FIGHT NIGHT, which is coming up NEXT WEEKEND already! AHHH! I have SO much to do! Anyways, I spent some much needed time these past few days up on the North Shore, simply doing nothing...here are some shots...cheers!
